Returns & refunds

We want you to love what you bought. If something's not right, email us at hello@curbsidebooks.com within 14 days of receiving your order and we'll figure it out together.

The basics

To be eligible for a return, your book should be in the same condition you got it in (unread, no creased spines, no dog-eared pages) and in its original packaging if it came with any. We'll need your order number or proof of purchase too.

Just don't send anything back before reaching out (we won't be able to accept it).

If something arrived damaged or wrong

Please check your order when it shows up and email us right away if a book arrived damaged, defective, or you got something you didn't order. We'll cover return shipping and make it right.

For everything else

If you just changed your mind, no worries. Email us to start a return and we'll send instructions for getting it back to us. Return shipping is on you in this case, but once we receive the book and confirm it's in resellable condition, we'll refund you on your original payment method within 10 business days (your bank may take a few extra days to actually post it).

Pop-up purchases

Bought a book from us at a market or event? Same 14-day window applies. Just email us and we'll arrange a return or exchange next time we see you (or by mail if that's easier).

A few things we can't take back

Sale items, gift cards, special orders, and personalized items are all final sale.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get a different book is to return the one you have and place a new order. We're a small operation, so this keeps things simple on our end.
