The Movie Night Book Club: Coraline — Advance Ticket

So this is new for us: our first-ever Curbside movie bookclub night. We're showing Coraline on the big screen at the Idaho Film Society (1212 W Bannock St, Boise) on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

Doors at 6:30 pm · Movie at 7:00 pm · home by about 10. The 7:00 start opens with an intro and audience Q&A with Lars Larsen, an animator who worked on Coraline, then the film rolls (bring the question you've always wanted to ask).

One ticket covers the full night:

• Admission to the movie, plus the intro and Q&A
• Costume contest entry, judged live at intermission by Snoots (whose decisions are final)
• One raffle ticket
• A fun surprise or two

The lounge does the rest: drinks and popcorn from the bar, and Trolley Parton parked outside with books to browse.

A few practical things: this is a 21+ night with IDs checked at the door, there are 51 seats total sold in advance, and tickets at the door will be $37 (if there are any left). Tickets are refundable through October 3 and transferable to a friend anytime (after October 3, transfer-only). The raffle is a free drawing, no purchase necessary to enter (just ask at the door). No pre-reading required. This is the other kind of bookclub.
